Pelmet Wall hanging – Colourful Floral Embroidery on Blue

Intricately embroidered with bright silks using close herringbone stitch and chainstitch on bright blue poplin.  This piece depicts flowers with embroidered sisha work.  Four integrated pennants (representing mango leaves for good luck). Intricately stitched strings of chilli peppers frame the toran finished off with a red trim  Colourful addition to any room in the house. Kutch, Gujurat.
