Long Kantha Jacket – XXX Large – 18/20. Deep Red and Ochre. Reverse multicoloure

XXX Large. Ochre and green flowers with circles of orange and blue spots decorate a deep red background. Reverse front and sleeves feature panels of turquoise and burnt orange flowers on an ink black background. Centre back and neck feature the same design in another colour way of reds, greens and yellow. Small repair to right front. Red trim on cuffs, front opening, neck and hem. Neru collar and two vents. The garment is designed to be worn open with the cuffs turned back. Each jacket is unique with a different design and colours on each side.

Our jackets are made from quilts which were originally stitched together from saris, softened from wear and washing. This tradition originated in Bangladesh and Kantha refers to the running stitch rather than the piece. As the material is vintage, sometimes there are small blemishes and even the odd patch. Machine washable. 100% cotton.
