Vintage Cushion Cover with Pad – Flower Design on Red Linen

Cushion cover made from a vintage hand embroidered piece made by the Rajput community in North East Gujurat. Embroidered with chain and herringbone stitch in a traditional flower design on red linen, embellished with Shisha mirrorwork, a border of couch work and finished with a beautifully embroidered quadruple border. Cotton on red cotton background, with beige cotton back and overlap opening.

Excellent condition. Mid twentieth century. Cushion pad included. Dry clean only.
