Vintage Cushion Cover with Pad – Bhuti Flower Design

Cushion cover made from a vintage silk envelope bag for storage of small items with a traditional butti flower design, bordered in silk and brocade. It has been hand-embroidered in chainstitch using silk and couched metal thread, on deep purple and red silk.

Kutch early 20th century. Good condition save for a small tear due to age. Cotton beige back with overlap opening.
