A beautiful addition for a child’s room or elsewhere in the house or could also be used in a tent or marquee – a colourful exotic decoration for weddings and parties. Colourful silk embroidery depicting flowers. This piece is beautifully embroidered with very fine close herringbone stitch throughout and trellis work in the centre of the flowers. 39 pennants (representing mango leaves for good luck) in bright lurex colours with same lurex tassles. 10 cm wide x 30 cm (4 inches x 12 inches). 7 hanging loops. Very good condition for this older piece. Some staining.
