This piece is neatly embroidered with fine close herringbone stitch throughout and Shisha mirror work in the centre of the flowers (Shisha work traditionally is thought to ward off the evil eye). 37 brightly coloured floral pennants (representing mango leaves for good luck) with 2 cotton tassles per pennant. 10 cm wide x 20 cm (4 inches x 8 inches). 8 hanging loops in different colours. Good condition for its age.
